Atlanta, Ga. – Artistry was a new restaurant concept that came to Atlanta in 2008, and they spoke with me about carrying the creative spirit of the interior onto the web. I used a lot of textures and fabrics to depict a diverse story to the viewer. I created the identity for the restaurant almost by accident. It was a final solution that I provided just to supplement the existing ideas, and the fact that each letter was individualistic carried the theme that all artists are different and unique.

Atlanta, Ga. – At GoSmallBiz, the masterminds have been busy developing new tools for small business professionals.

Currently dubbed, “The GoSmallBiz Toolbox,” it is the umbrella brand under which several families of diminutive brands reside. My work on this collection involves the creation of the larger brand by establishing a connection between the maintainance of a small business using items found in a typical toolbox. Encapsulating six similar, yet unique, diminutive brands, the toolbox becomes a launch point for a plethora of new & pre-existing premium services.

I created this site displaying all of the various applications, each identifiable by a colored toolbox. Together, they all form a cohesive family. Along with the sales site for the Toolbox, are the individual, colorized interfaces for each of the applications.

Training Guide Booklet: Updating the existing training manual was not difficult to do. As part of my overall scheme to rebrand the Small Business Support Center’s materials with more ethnicity, I designed the front and back covers, including the pages inbetween, with InDesign.

Atlanta, Ga. – With Chris’ site, I wanted to make it a little gritty, but still super smooth. I achieved this by using a photo of him for each section, and let the color of his clothing depict the color of the section, too. Not only is it fully-dynamic, it also gets his message across.

This is a great story, actually. I met Chris through Craig’s List, because he was looking to use his services (personal training) to receive another service (design) in return. That inspired me to do the same, from thereon out. Service-trades are a great way to meet new and exciting people, and it doesn’t give off the kind of pressure that a client/vendor relationship can have.

It ended up being a good trade, having him train me while in school, because if I didn’t have him to pressure me into setting time aside, I was too busy and would not have done it myself.

The purpose of this exercise was to initiate a movement, a revolution, using methods of propaganda. I chose to rely on America’s favorite childhood characters to wake up the adults to becoming more productive, by way of becoming reluctant to procrastination. This includes three posters, and a daily scheduler – both pretty effective deliveries of spreading propaganda.
